Keto Bagels

As you may know, I am a former carbaholic. Keto was VERY hard for me to get used to at first. Now that I've learned how to make all these different types of breads, I'm in heaven! I tried this bagel recipe yesterday, and it turned out awesome! Here's the recipe:



Ingredients:


  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour

  • 1 Tbs baking powder

  • 2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 2 oz cream cheese, cubed

  • 2 eggs

  • optional seasonings to taste (garlic salt, cinnamon, or leave plain)



Directions:


  1. Preheat oven to 400*F.

  2. Mix flour, baking powder, and any dry seasoning you choose.

  3. Microwave cream cheese and mozzarella together for 1 minute. Stir, and microwave another minute.

  4. Add eggs and dry ingredients to the melted cream cheese and mozzarella.

  5. Knead by-hand until a dough is formed.

  6. Roll out the dough, and divide into 6 equal parts.

  7. Shape each part into a bagel.

  8. Bake on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet for 12-14 minutes.
